This King of Spices is one of my favorite ingredients in my kitchen. I always make sure I have got some ground pepper ready in my cabinet. Home ground pepper is what i prefer over the powdered black pepper that we get in the market. Fresh ground ones add a zest to your food. I think im really head over heals in love with this spice!

in fact, i used to eat raw cinnamon too much to the point of being addicted to it and had to finally cut down by the words of some doctor guy who almost promised me i'd get ulcer someday...

Oh yes!!..very true about pepper!...during my 'experiments with cooking'...one of the many lessons i learnt was 'If anything goes wrong, just hide it beautifully with a lot of pepper'!! ;)
Just wondering... is there any difference between powedred and crushed pepper? I mean the difference in taste/flavour.
Oh and more thing... wanna strike a deal? You advertise my blog, I advertise yours. Believe me, amateur bloggers like you need something like that to kick start.. :-D

Hish....powdered is the one v get from shops, readymade in packets.They would have lost there stong flavour but the ones crushed(to small pieces, not powdered) at home have a rich flavour.
